We operate a small Black & White Darkroom with a DeVere 504 enlarger onsite capable of processing film and enlargement prints up to 6x7.
Artist Membership: £15 per year Membership allows you to access the the printing facility through hiring or key holder membership. Membership also includes access to all other TAP events as well opportunity to become involved in other events developed by members of the TAP project space and Studios. Membership fee covers the cost of induction
Hire: £6 per hour Hiring the room gives you the opportunity to use the facilities, once inducted by a member of TAP. The hire fee entitles you use of the inks, tools and print press. Key Holder Members: £20 per month Being a Key Holder gives you 24hour access to the print facilities at TAP. After a short induction this membership entitles you use of the darkroom. Use of the darkroom is open to both professional and experienced amateur members who are comfortable with working independently in the darkroom.
If you are new to using a darkroom please ask for an induction course!
Chemicals are included in your booking and you are welcome to purchase paper from us, alternatively you can bring your own.
Once you are a member you can use the Darkroom for £6 per hour. All bookings must be made 48 hours in advance and new members must undertake a FREE induction (takes approx 15 mins).
